Tom Tsuchiya

World-class sculptor and NJCL alum, Tom Tsuchiya, will be creating at sculpture during the 2018 NJCL Convention 

Artist Tom Tsuchiya will be completing a sculpture of a Phoenix during Convention. Tom will be available to talk with attendees about his work and inspiration.  

Stop by the atrium of Armstrong Student Center, which is the JCL hub and registration area, on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of Convention to see the Phoenix take shape. The Phoenix will be created from recycled materials and when finished will be a receptacle for cans and bottles. 

Also on display will be Atlas Recycled, aka The Anthropecene.

Tom was named a Distinguished Alumnus from the University of Cincinnati. This article includes photos of some of Tom's sculptures for the Cincinnati Reds.
