Greek Honor Society

NJCL GREEK HONOR SOCIETY

The NJCL Greek Honor Society is a special designation given to Junior Classical League students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and citizenship in Greek class. NJCL Greek Honor Society induction matters because it shows prospective colleges and employers that a student values high academic achievement and has maintained proper citizenship. Colleges especially value language honor society induction because they are eager to accept students who challenge themselves in meaningful courses and who succeed.

The Greek Honor Society membership is earned annually based on student performance.

The Honor Society registration opens on December 1 and ends on July 1. Teachers whose schools have awards ceremonies after July 1 are encouraged to order memberships before July 1 if at all possible.
